This was a good event. There were a lot of cars here although the majority of them were late
models but there were some nice 1st and 2nd gen F-bodies here which you can see in the pics
below. Just click any picture to enlarge it.

By the way, the coolest car at the event (in my opinion of course. ;-) ) is near the bottom of the page.

The first few pictures are of my car and our local car club vehicles. We had a good turn out for the
club.
Sean's (Bandit79) Camaro. This is a V6 car but it is a
very sharp car. Beautiful color and an excellent choice
of aftermarket wheels set this car off perfect. Not to
mention Sean's meticulous cleaning and detailing of it.
He actually won 1st place at G9 in the V6 category.
Well deserved.
Ben's Formula 455. This car is in immaculate condition
and looks even better in person. I was told that it has
scored a 999 at a 1000 point show. I don't doubt that at
all as it is a very nice looking original car.
Chad's (CRL01SS) Camaro SS. Note the clear lid; those
are cool.
Ed's (AutoSS) Camaro. I'm not sure about all of the
mods but Ed does take it to the track on occasion where
it runs consistently in the 12's. The car sounds
awesome too. There's a couple of black marks on the
road in front of my house that belong to him. ;-)
Mo's Camaro SS. This is a beautiful color that is
accented perfectly with some charcoal stripes.
Wayne's (WayneSS) Camaro SS Convertible. Beautiful
car, especially with the top down. The car just looks
"right" with the top down.
Eric's (BigE) Gorgeous Blue Formula.
Todd's (Vader) TA. This car belongs to our club
president. He didn't actually enter it in the show, he just
kind of snuck in for a while on Saturday although his car
is certainly show worthy. Nothing like a bright red TA to
say "Sure Officer, I'll just put it in the glovebox with the
other tickets". Red TA's are my favorite, btw.
I think this was a GAFBA car so I don't know whose it is.
Another GAFBA car.
Another GAFBA car. Nice 3rd gen car though. Had a
friend with an '86/87 GTA. I loved that car.
David's "Tojan". This car requires several pics to fully appreciate it. When he first introduced
himself, and his car, on our local club forum I thought that it was a kit car......as most people do.
But, as it turns out this was a factory production vehicle. It is called a Pontiac "Tojan" and is
obviously based on the 3rd gen Firebird/TA chassis. Apparently, they were made for several
years and this one is a 1986 model. It is #39 of only 150 made. This car must be seen in person to
fully appreciate it. When I first saw the pics, I was a little skeptical but after seeing it in person, I
really like it and wouldn't mind having one of them myself someday. Especially after seeing the
attention that it got at this particular show. There was always a crowd around this car and David
had his script down pat for telling about the car. I even relieved him as the official "presenter" for
a while as he went to check out some other cars. That was pretty cool even though I had to resist
the urge to say "but have you seen that gold '69 Firebird yet??" ;-)
In my opinion, the following was the coolest car of the show. This is a 1969 Kingswood Estate
Wagon with one VERY SIGNIFICANT option; It was ordered using the COPO option. For those
that aren't familiar with that term, it stands for "Central Office Production Order" and, as I
understand it, it was used to bypass certain ordering limitations or RPO's (Regular Production
Orders) that GM had on their vehicles at the time. The most famous ordering option was the
engine that this car has. I've seen this on Camaro's, Chevelle's, and Nova's but I never knew that
it could be used on a vehicle such as this. Notice the window sticker options; specifically the
425hp 427CI engine and 3.73 Positrac rear end.  Talk about a real sleeper. For some idiotic
reason, I didn't get a picture of the engine.
To most people, this car just looks like an old station wagon but I'd be really interested to know
it's true value.
Here's another sleeper. How about a V12 in a plain-jane Caprice straight from the FACTORY!!
Oh yea, and there was this car; The "Concept Camaro" which, if it makes it to production, will be
introduced as the "2009 Camaro". I liked the car but thought that the front end looked a little too
much like the Cadillac. It probably should have been called something other than a Camaro.
