Below are some pics of our zoo. If it were up to me, we would only have one animal in this house but thanks to my wife, that'll never happen. The rulers of the house are our two Basset Hounds. The first one was given to me by my wife as a Christmas present so I named her "Felise Navidog". The other one was bought as a male "companion" for Felise and we named him "Baron Von Basset".

When Felise was a puppy, she had a habit of stealing everything she could out of my garage and dragging it up onto the deck. She would pick up tools, rags, whatever. In this pic, I caught her trying to sneak off with my shop broom which she didn't even bother to drop when I called her name to take the picture. After a little struggle, she finally made it onto the deck with it.

We also have a Pekingese that we've had for about 10 years. She is a good dog and well behaved but she has never been very playful. Her name is "Princess Nala" named by my oldest girl from the movie "The Lion King". This is our second Pekingese. I don't recommend these dogs for anyone other than little old ladies because they just don't do very much. They make good lap dogs though.

We also have two cats. Here is "Nemo" who I caught being used as a pillow by my youngest daughter.

And "Heathern". This cat was rescued by my wife several years ago when she worked at a local animal hospital. Someone had dropped it off at the door at night because it had a huge cut right down the center of its back which required over 100 stitches and some reconstruction to the muscle in her back. Because of this scar, I wanted to call her "Frankenkitty" but the wife wouldnt have it. I think that this cat was abused before as it is VERY skitish around people. It was several years before it would even get close to me and if anybody comes over to the house now, it will hide under our bed the entire time someone is here. We've had this cat for eight years and it's still very nervous.
